Jill Young, RN – Office Manager

We are fortunate to have an Office Manager and Patient Coordinator, Jill Young, who is also a registered nurse with years of operating room and other hospital-related nursing experience. Her responsibilities at BodyAesthetic are too numerous to list but include scheduling surgeries and trying to make sure that everything gets done around here. Most of our surgical patients meet Jill during the preoperative consultation as she takes patients through the informed consent process, describes what a surgery entails and what to expect afterwards, and answers any patient questions.

Lisa Roberts – Billing Manager

Lisa joined BodyAesthetic in April 2003 as our Business Manager. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and was President of the St. Louis chapter of the CPC professional association in 2005. Lisa's knowledge of insurance matters comes from 17 years of experience in the insurance field as a claims auditor and supervisor with additional time spent in various medical offices and hospitals. In addition to her business and billing responsibilities, Lisa also meets with patients to walk them through the preoperative paperwork that is part of the informed consent process and answers questions about procedures and what to expect afterwards.

Jamie Archer, RN, BSN

After spending a year as a stay-at-home-mom with her young son, Jamie joined BodyAesthetic in May 2008 as a part-time nurse. After becoming a Registered Nurse, Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Webster University in 2004. Most of her post-RN career has been spent as an office and hospital cardiology nurse. This included time working in a cardiac catheterization lab, where she gained surgical experience, and as a telemetry nurse at Missouri Baptist. Wherever she worked an important part of her job was preparing patients for procedures and educating them about recovery from often serious illnesses. She strongly believes in the importance of open communication between physicians, staff, and patients. Jamie also has experience performing laser hair removal treatments.

Jill Baum RN, BSN, RNFA, CCRC – Clinical Research Coordinator

Jill joined BodyAesthetic in May 2006 as Dr. Young's office nurse and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in the operating room. She is now a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator(CCRC) and is dedicated to the clinical trials being conducted at BodyAesthetic Research Center. Jill earned her BSN at Saint Louis University in 1995 and continued her training to earn the CNOR certification from the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN). As a surgical nurse she has worked in a variety of specialties (including cardiothoracic, orthopedic, general and plastic surgery), but she now enjoys the varied tasks of coordinating clinical research trials and working with a variety of study subjects.

Karen Sage, RN

Karen joined BodyAesthetic in May 2010 as a staff RN. She graduated from Webster University with her BSN. She has been a Registered Nurse for 17 years. The majority of her nursing career has been spent as a cardiology nurse specializing in electrophysiology. She also worked as a traveling nurse, which was an invaluable learning experience for her. Karen assists the doctors with in-office procedures and also meets with the patients who come to us for surgical and aesthetic consultations. She also performs laser hair removal treatments. Karen enjoys the recent change of her career from cardiology to plastic surgery and skincare. She appreciates and understands the importance of patient education and support throughout the entire operative period from consultation through follow-up visits with our surgeons.

Janine Bilpush – Licensed Aesthetician

Janine joined BodyAesthetic in September of 2006 as a skin care specialist and aesthetician with more than 11 years of experience. In addition to performing all facials, light chemical peels, and microdermabrasion treatments, she is knowledgeable about all our skin care products. Janine continues to attend classes and seminars to maintain her knowledge on current and effective skin care regimens and treatments.

Natalie (Niki) Buettner, CCRC – Clinical Research Coordinator

Niki Buettner, a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), began working at BodyAesthetic Research Center in May 2010. Prior to joining us, she was a research coordinator for 11 years in the St. Louis metro area organizing clinical trials in multiple specialties, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, diabetes, osteoarthritis, and psychiatric medicine. Her experience encompasses work on Phase II, III, and IV trials testing new drugs and medical devices. Niki is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

Kendra Nicholson – Front Desk Coordinator

Kendra began working as Dr. Young's clerical secretary in 1999 and continues those duties, and more, at BodyAesthetic. Found at our front desk, Kendra is likely the first person to greet patients when they arrive. Although her front desk duties (checking patients in and out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and organizing patient charts) keep Kendra busy, she always has a welcoming smile and easy manner with our patients. She is a lifelong resident of St. Louis and active in her church. For relaxation, Kendra enjoys spending time with her English Bulldog, Tyson.

Melissa Skillen – Medical Assistant & Surgical Technician

Melissa came to BodyAesthetic in March 2007 after our surgeons got to know her as a surgical technician in the Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital operating rooms. She now assists the doctors with procedures in the office and helps patients with surgical consultations as well as pre- and post-operative visits. When a patient calls and asks to speak with a nurse, Melissa is often the one who answers. She has 6 years experience working in the OR and 12 years plastic surgery experience.

Lance Weston – Administrative Assistant

Lance began working at BodyAesthetic in September 2007 as part of our administrative team. After graduating with a Political Science degree in 2001, he worked for 6 years at Express Scripts. This job gave him experience with insurance benefits and billing practices. He is also responsible for generating monthly reports, making sure that all patient charts are complete and current, answering patient phone calls, and helping at the front desk when needed. Lance has an Associate's Degree in Art and earned a minor in studio art along with his Bachelor's degree.
